Scott is a highly experienced Hairdresser with nearly 15 years in the industry, beginning his career at just 15 years old. He completed his apprenticeship, earning a Certificate in Hairdressing and being recognised as Most Outstanding Apprentice in each year of his training—a reflection of both his technical skill and dedication to his craft.
A true all-rounder, Scott is confident across all areas of hairdressing, from precision cutting and colour to styling. He has a particular passion for creating effortless, lived-in blondes, alongside delivering exceptional blow-dries. With a strong interest in the science of hair colour and salon operations, Scott combines creativity with a considered, technical approach to achieve consistently refined results.
At the core of Scott’s work is an unwavering focus on the guest experience. He is a natural communicator who values meaningful connection, taking the time to understand each client’s lifestyle, preferences, and goals. This personalised approach ensures every appointment feels elevated, seamless, and results-driven—leaving clients feeling confident, understood, and cared for.
Scott’s creativity extends beyond the salon into music, where he plays guitar and piano, sings, and composes—an artistic sensibility that informs his eye for detail and balance in hair.

With 7 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Sujata brings creativity, passion, and precision to every guest she works with. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies alongside her hairdressing qualification Sujata moved to Australia from Nepal and built her career primarily in Aveda salons — gaining extensive hands-on experience with the Aveda colour system and product range.
“I’ve always been passionate about hair and making people feel beautiful,” Sujata shares. “For me, it’s not just about the colour or style — it’s about ensuring the hair remains healthy and vibrant throughout every transformation.”
Specialising in blondes and transformative colour work, Sujata loves guiding her guests through personalised journeys to achieve their ideal look. She takes pride in maintaining hair health through every service and helping clients create long-term routines for strong, glossy results.

Corie-Eve loves all things skin, wellness and self-care, with a particular passion for facials, skin treatments and brows. She enjoys helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin while tailoring every treatment to their individual needs and goals.
Known for her gentle touch and attention to detail, Corie-Eve believes beauty treatments should be both results-driven and deeply relaxing. Whether it’s a rejuvenating facial, a brow refresh or a moment of calm in a busy week, she loves creating experiences that leave clients feeling their absolute best.

That early appreciation for helping people look and feel their best has remained at the heart of his career, shaping the thoughtful and guest-focused stylist he is today.
Known for his warm, positive energy, Tony thrives on building genuine connections with every guest who sits in his chair. He believes hair is deeply personal, and takes the time to understand each client's vision, lifestyle, and individual needs. His favourite service is creating a beautifully bouncy blow-dry—an experience he loves for the instant confidence, movement, and polished finish it gives his guests.
Dedicated to continually refining his craft, Tony is passionate about education and professional growth. He is always seeking new techniques and inspiration to ensure he delivers the highest standard of service. A career highlight was being named a finalist for the 2018 SA/TAS Hairdresser of the Year Awards, an achievement that reflects both his technical ability and commitment to excellence.

With over 15 years of experience in top salons across both Sydney and Melbourne, Ryan is a skilled and passionate hairdresser who specialises in blondes, freehand techniques, and creating bespoke colour. Trained with Aveda in 2010, he has honed his craft to deliver stunning, natural-looking results that enhance each client’s unique beauty.
Ryan’s favourite services include blondes, foils, French balayage, and hair painting. “When in doubt, go blonde,” he often says with a smile. His true passion lies in creating hair colours that effortlessly complement the client’s features while preserving the integrity of their hair. “Healthy, shiny hair is always the goal,” he adds, emphasising the importance of maintaining hair health during every process.
Ryan values the relationship between a hairdresser and their client’s hair, and strives to respect the integrity of the hair above all. “It’s all about achieving beautiful results without compromising the hair’s health,” he explains.
Fluent in English, Ryan is also open to brushing up on his Spanish if the opportunity arises during your session.
Ryan’s favourite Aveda product is the Aveda Confixor. A long-time staple in his kit, it’s perfect for clients seeking weightless volume in their styling.
Ryan also believes in the importance of scalp health for beautiful hair. He recommends a weekly scalp exfoliation, a ritual he personally practices. “I use products like wax, clay, and gels in my hair daily, so I find scalp exfoliation helps with product buildup and is a nice little self-care ritual I do each morning.”
When it comes to advice for clients, Ryan’s best tip is simple: “Let me do your colour—you won’t be disappointed!”
Kitty
Apprentice Hairdresser | Emerging Talent
Kitty is one of our exciting emerging talents at Haus of Aveda, currently completing her hairdressing apprenticeship and building her skills through both formal TAFE training and hands-on salon experience. Naturally creative and enthusiastic about the possibilities within hairdressing, Kitty was first drawn to the industry by the artistry of hair colour—the freedom to create, experiment and completely transform the way someone feels about themselves.
At this stage of her career, Kitty is focused on developing strong foundations and learning from the experienced stylists around her. She takes pride in every part of the guest experience, from a beautiful hair and scalp cleanse through to assisting with services and learning the techniques behind cutting, colouring and styling. For Kitty, even the smallest details matter, and she is excited by how much there is still to discover as her career develops.
Friendly, calm and naturally good with people, Kitty brings a warm and positive energy to the salon. She loves connecting with guests and believes one of the most rewarding parts of hairdressing is seeing the confidence that comes from feeling great about your hair. Her goal is for every guest to leave the salon happier than when they arrived—with an extra kick in their step.
Kitty is particularly excited to develop her skills in hair colour and explore the creative and technical possibilities it offers. As an emerging stylist, she is embracing education, practice and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced professional team, building the knowledge and confidence that will shape her own style as a hairdresser.

With 40 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Richard’s wealth of knowledge and expertise is immediately evident. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he takes the time to truly listen to his clients' goals and works to bring those visions to life.
Specialising in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment, Richard has a true passion for colour. Hairdressing has been a lifelong vocation for him, and the connections and friendships he’s formed over the years are some of the most rewarding aspects of his career.
At the moment, Richard’s favourite Aveda product is the Smooth Infusion Style Cream. He loves the smoothness and shine it delivers, creating beautifully polished results every time.
When it comes to great hair, Richard believes in the philosophy of “less is more.” He emphasises the importance of setting realistic expectations, ensuring a collaborative approach that leads to effortlessly beautiful results.

Bella is a qualified Beauty Therapist with a strong background in massage and holistic wellness. Before completing her Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Bella spent five years working in remedial massage, developing extensive hands-on experience and a deep understanding of how therapeutic touch can support relaxation, restoration, and overall wellbeing.
Her experience spans facials, waxing, lash and brow services, makeup and nails, alongside her particular strengths in facial and upper-body massage, aromatherapy, pregnancy massage and hot stone techniques. Bella especially loves facial treatments for their ability to combine deep relaxation with visible skin results, creating an experience where clients can both feel and see the benefits of their treatment.
At the heart of Bella’s approach is genuine connection and care. Warm, calm and welcoming by nature, she understands that clients often arrive carrying the stresses of everyday life. She takes the time to listen, understand what each guest needs, and tailor their experience accordingly—creating a space where they can truly switch off and feel looked after.
Bella’s passion for beauty therapy grew from seeing firsthand how transformative a treatment can be. Whether helping to release tension through massage, restoring the skin with a facial, or simply giving someone time to themselves, she loves seeing clients leave feeling more relaxed, refreshed and confident than when they arrived.

Interestingly, Bella’s career began far from the treatment room—she previously worked as an Accountant before following her passion into massage and beauty therapy. For Bella, helping people look and feel their best has proven to be a much more rewarding equation.

For more than 27 years, Kristy Hines has dedicated her career to helping people look and feel their very best through healthy skin, beautiful hair and holistic wellbeing. As Founder and Director of Haus of Aveda Paddington, she has built one of Sydney's most respected salon and wellness destinations by combining technical excellence with genuine care, education and exceptional guest experiences.
Kristy's journey began at Elly Lukas College, where she graduated as Dux, earning the Australian Diploma of Beauty Therapy alongside the internationally recognised CIDESCO, ITEC and CIBTAC qualifications, as well as professional Makeup Artistry accreditation. Her passion for learning has never stopped, leading to over 22 years working with Aveda, including an extensive career as an International Educator delivering technical education and product knowledge throughout Australia and overseas.
Known affectionately by colleagues as the salon's "skin and ingredient nerd", Kristy has an endless curiosity for understanding how skin functions, how ingredients work and how professional treatments can create lasting improvements in skin, scalp and hair health. She believes the best results come from combining science with a holistic understanding of wellness, helping every guest achieve healthy, radiant beauty that lasts.
While renowned for her advanced facial treatments and deeply relaxing spa experiences, Kristy's expertise extends across beauty therapy, scalp health, healthy platinum blonde colour, hair extensions and wellness rituals. After formally qualifying as a Hairdresser in 2018, she brought together her love of skin, scalp and hair health to create a uniquely integrated approach to beauty.
In 2011, Kristy established Haus of Aveda Paddington, transforming the long-established Aveda Paddington Day Spa into a modern luxury salon and wellness destination. Under her leadership, Haus of Aveda became one of Sydney's early pioneers of dedicated Hair Spa experiences, reflecting her belief that healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp and a healthy body.
Beyond caring for guests, Kristy is passionate about developing the next generation of beauty professionals. She mentors her team not only in technical excellence but also in leadership, business, guest experience and sustainable career development. Her mission is to help beauty professionals build long, healthy and rewarding careers while raising the standards of the industry as a whole.
